Public Relations
I maintain all press outreach including drafting, sending, and contacting local media. Prior to my time at Wesleyan, there were no systems in place for consistent community and press communication. Within the past year, I have been able to assist in bringing nearly all of central Georgia local media outlets to our campus.
I secured a 30-minute live segment featuring Wesleyan College, where I accompanied Wesleyan College President, Meaghan Blight to the station and assisted with behind-the-scenes.
I assisted with President Blight's "Million Dollar Match" campaign - bringing in over $1.2 Million of the intended funds raised for the college within her first one hundred days in office. I was then responsible for bringing the local community and media to the press conference for the official announcement.
I have been quoted in local publications speaking on behalf of the college.
